Women in Soccer

At Butter Studio, we believe in designing for equity in sports, especially for women in the game. We partnered with Women in Soccer (WIS), a professional network connecting all women in and around football, to create a visual identity that breaks the male-dominated lens prevalent in sport, asserting women's power in the game and beyond.

Inspired by football culture's aesthetic traditions, such as kits, trading cards, signage, and team crests, we developed a design system that gives WIS a memorable personality that is both professional and fun. Our goal was to develop an identity that bridges professional with powerful.

The result is a visual identity that WIS proudly showcases on their website and marketing assets. By creating a face for the company, we helped WIS establish itself as a pioneer in driving equity in sports.
